What the manufacturer says about the kit line

Juventix describes the Medical PRP kit line as progen free, triple sterilized, and single spin in under 10 minutes, with over 99% red blood cell exclusion, a two year shelf life, and no refrigeration required. Follow the storage conditions in the kit’s instructions for use.

Format and sizing

We supply the 12 mL kit as a single kit containing two 12 mL preparation tubes. If your program draws larger volumes per preparation, the same kit comes in a 15 mL size, and the 30 mL XL tube covers the largest draws.

Regulatory status

Juventix states that its Medical PRP Kit line is 510(k) cleared. The manufacturer describes the clearance in three parts: the kits are cleared for the preparation of platelet rich plasma at the point of care; the PRP may be mixed with bone graft material in applicable procedures; and all other applications are off-label and not recommended or endorsed by the manufacturer. Clinical use decisions rest with the treating provider.
