Description

The Juventix Medical PRP Kit in the larger 15 mL size, supplied as a single kit containing two 15 mL preparation tubes. Juventix describes the Medical kit line as progen free, triple sterilized, single spin in under 10 minutes, with a two year shelf life and no refrigeration required.

Regulatory status

Juventix states that its Medical PRP Kit line is 510(k) cleared. The manufacturer describes the clearance in three parts: the kits are cleared for the preparation of platelet rich plasma at the point of care; the PRP may be mixed with bone graft material in applicable procedures; and all other applications are off-label and not recommended or endorsed by the manufacturer. Clinical use decisions rest with the treating provider.
