Practices in orthopedics, sports medicine, aesthetics, hair restoration, wound care and dentistry run PRP programs at the point of care. The equipment list is short. You need a centrifuge, a supply of preparation kits, and replacement tubes for reorders. This article walks through each piece and how practices source them.
1. The centrifuge
The centrifuge is the one durable purchase. It spins the blood draw to separate platelet rich plasma, and it sits on a counter in the room where you prepare. The VitalitySpin CENT8 processes up to eight tubes per spin with adjustable speed from 100 to 4,000 RPM. Our guide to choosing a PRP centrifuge covers the decision in more detail.
2. Preparation kits
Kits are the per-procedure supply. The Juventix Medical PRP Kit comes in 12 mL and 15 mL sizes, each supplied as a single kit containing two preparation tubes. Juventix describes the Medical kit line as progen free, triple sterilized, and single spin in under 10 minutes, with a two year shelf life and no refrigeration required. Follow the storage conditions in the kit’s instructions for use. Kits also differ in how much of the patient’s white cell fraction they carry through to the final volume, which is the difference between a leukocyte poor PRP and a leukocyte rich preparation. That guide covers what the two terms mean, how the published classification systems record them, and the questions worth asking a supplier before a first order.
Specialty configurations exist for specific program types. Practices running hair restoration programs use the Hair Growth PRP Kit, and aesthetic practices use the Facial Bio-Filler HA-PRP Kit, which combines hyaluronic acid with PRP preparation.
3. Replacement tubes
Tubes are the recurring reorder for an active program. They come in 12 mL and 15 mL four packs, plus a 30 mL XL single for higher volume draws. A practice that tracks its monthly procedure count can set a simple reorder rhythm.
One supplier for the whole program
The VitalitySpin centrifuge line is Juventix’s own, matched to its kits and tubes. Running the machine and the consumables from one manufacturer means the spin protocol and the consumables come from one source, and reordering stays simple. HealthWright Technologies supplies the Juventix centrifuges, kits and tubes: see the centrifuges and kits and tubes pages for the lineup and prices.

Regulatory status
Juventix states that its Medical PRP Kit line is 510(k) cleared. The manufacturer describes the clearance in three parts: the kits are cleared for the preparation of platelet rich plasma at the point of care; the PRP may be mixed with bone graft material in applicable procedures; and all other applications are off-label and not recommended or endorsed by the manufacturer. Clinical use decisions rest with the treating provider.
This statement applies to the Medical PRP Kit line only. The Hair Growth kit, the Facial Bio-Filler HA-PRP kit, the tubes and the centrifuges carry no clearance claim of their own.
