How the CMAT Advantage™ System Works”
The CMAT Advantage™ utilizes proven volume plethysmography technology. Blood pressure cuffs are placed on the brachial arteries and ankles to simultaneously measure pressures. This allows for the calculation of the Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI).
A specialized toe sensor assesses the dorsalis pedis arteries for Toe-Brachial Index (TBI) calculation. The system further analyzes pulse waveforms to determine peripheral Augmentation Index (pAIx), Central Aortic Systolic Pressure (CASP), and brachial-ankle Pulse Wave Velocity (baPWV).
This provides valuable data on arterial stiffness and overall vascular health.

This advanced system is indicated for use on adult subjects at risk of having or developing peripheral arterial disease (PAD). The CMAT Advantage™ system is intended for the rapid measurement of ankle-brachial pressure index (ABPI), ankle-brachial index (ABI), and pulse volume recording (PVR)/volume plethysmography in adults. It is suitable for use in wound care assessment, for assessing symptomatic PAD, and as a screening device for PAD.
