The ISO Preferred Knee Immobilizer I (KN41xx) is a knee orthosis recommended for patients who require complete knee immobilization. The three-piece design is fully adjustable to accommodate most leg shapes and sizes. This 4-strap brace is available in various lengths to provide longitudinal immobilization. Adjustable side aluminum stays and fixed posterior aluminum stays provide stability and keep the leg and knee in a protected straight position providing strong support and pain relief. Sizes (length) are 14″, 16″, 18″ 20″ and 24″.
Indications
Indications listed by the manufacturer include: ACL, MCL, PCL, and LCL injuries, soft tissue injuries, pre and post-operative knee immobilization, emergency immobilization, knee sprains, other mild to severe knee and leg injuries. Clinical use decisions rest with the treating provider.
