DR Medical The Solace LSO is a prefabricated spinal orthosis from DR Medical, supplied to physician practices that dispense bracing in the clinic. HealthWright Technologies provides simple online ordering and direct warehouse shipping to your office.
Product details
The DR Medical Solace LSO Lumbar Brace (BB-157) features rigid front and back plates, with lateral support panels. The brace is designed to conform to natural body contouring and the back plate can be heat-molded. The brace extends from the sacrococcygeal junction to the T9 vertebra. Intracavitary abdominal support is enhanced by the rigid side (lateral) and front panels, designed to help reduce the load on the intravertebral discs. The wraparound design with rigid front and back plates and padding, is designed to provide lumbar-sacral support and sagittal control. Using an adjustable pressure feature from the string and roller system, the brace is designed to support the core muscles and lower back while allowing for a pendulous abdominal placement. Waist belts can be trimmed to fit sizes S to 2XL (up to 56″ waist). Universal size. For sizes 3XL to 5XL, the ISO Preferred Lumbar Belt Extension (ISO-BA202) is sold separately.
Indications
Indications listed by the manufacturer include: Indicated for spinal stenosis, chronic back pain, post operative disc surgery, facet syndrome, spondylolisthesis, radiculopathy, degenerative disc syndrome, post operative lumbar fusion, spinal instability, osteoarthritis, and herniated disc. Clinical use decisions rest with the treating provider.
