Who owns and provides the CMAT Advantage System?
The CMAT Advantage System is owned and provided by HealthWright Technologies, a U.S. medical-sales company. It is the diagnostic system at the core of the company’s flagship program, the HealthWright Advantage.
What does the CMAT Advantage System do?
The CMAT Advantage System is built on FDA-cleared component devices manufactured by LD Technology; clearance is held by the manufacturer and applies to the component devices, not to a combined system. It is a non-invasive system used in the medical office to perform three established measurements:
- Ankle-brachial index (ABI) — CPT 93923
- Sudomotor function — CPT 95923
- Cardiovagal innervation, including deep breathing, Valsalva and 30:15 ratio — CPT 95921
These are established, separately reportable CPT-coded measurements.
What is the HealthWright Advantage?
The HealthWright Advantage is HealthWright Technologies’ bundled point-of-care program built around the CMAT Advantage System. It is designed to help medical practices add point-of-care testing with structured implementation and support. The program includes the CMAT Advantage System, a structured implementation and support program, a 60-day buyback guarantee (bill the CMAT Advantage tests correctly and compliantly, and if Medicare does not reimburse them, we buy the system back), and an annual software subscription.
